At Gown Boutique of Charleston, we are obsessed with everything bridal--we are crazy about fashion, live for special moments and believe in happily ever after. A wedding is one of the most important days in a couples life, and we feel so honored to be a part of it. We cherish the relationships we build throughout the process. We start by getting to know our brides — their style, their wedding theme, their dress likes and dislikes. Then, we get to work, hand-selecting gowns from our curated collection of designers. Our favorite moment is watching a bride’s face light up because she has found THE ONE! That’s when we pop the champagne and throw confetti!
GBC has been a Charleston leader in the bridal experience for over 15 years. Janet took over the reigns in 2018 with a spirited passion to bring a relaxed, fun and memorable shopping experience to every bride that walks through the GBC doors. She envisioned every bride enjoying a once in a lifetime experience--which now defines the GBC difference.

Owning a bridal boutique was something I have always dreamed of. I remember sketching wedding dresses as a teenager, I have always loved all things bridal. I married my high school sweetheart and have two beautiful daughters. We are Northern Virginia transplants, but found our true home when we landed in Charleston 10 years ago. In addition to our girls, we have two fur babies that I am o.b.s.e.s.s.e.d with! When I am not at the store, you can find me watching dog videos at home, sipping on Starbucks, or binging on Netflix. I LOVE my job and still have to pinch myself to know it's real...I get to be a part of so many special moments! I'm the luckiest girl in the world!

I am a southern girl to the core, raised in North Carolina and followed my dream job to Charleston. Bridal and weddings are in my veins, I grew up watching my parents make brides' dreams come true with their catering business. I have a passion for brides, wedding gowns and all things bridal. I adore my sweet golden doodle, Miss Winnie. I am also recently engaged and can not wait to marry my fiance in a gown I designed! I love working with brides and helping them find their perfect gown, it is truly what I was born to do!

After saying "Yes" to the dress at GBC, I knew I had to be a part of not only the bridal industry, but the GBC team! I took a risk changing careers but it is the best decision I have ever made. Well maybe the econd best, next to marrying my hubby! If you are looking for me on my days off, you'll find me hanging with my new hubby and loving on our fur babies. I am an outdoor girlie and love hiking and exploring the low country. I am still in awe that I get to be a part of so many brides' special day, it is a feeling that never gets old.
