Was your vision the same as the wedding dress you chose? No! I originally thought I wanted A-line with lace and tulle, maybe even a simple silk A-line. I was shy about fit ‘N’ flare gowns I tend to bloat easily. When I tried on Carson, Stella York (#7099), it just felt right!

What did you love most about your gown? It was simple, elegant, and classic. It showed my curves but in a tasteful way. It had structure, elegance, and the flow of the train impeccable! The bridal buttons all the way down to the end of the train, the cuff that wrapped around the bust of the dress were my favorite details! I love how the dress made me feel confident! My mother and I have always loved Stella York wedding dresses and the dress I said YES to just so happened to be a Stella York!

How did you know you had found your wedding dress? I first saw my dress displayed beautifully in the window and loved it. I tried her on and no other dress compared to Carson! I just kept wanting to try Carson back on! I wanted people to see me in the dress, not the dress on me and Carson was perfect!

Most memorable moment from your wedding dress shopping experience: ​The whole experience was fun! Who does not love sipping champagne and being complemented! My bridal stylist was wonderful, knowledgeable, and guided me in saying Yes to my dress!

Most memorable moment from your wedding day: There are a couple moments that just stick out to me! My love language is quality time and I remember looking around at different moments of the day and feeling grateful that most of my loved ones were in one place! While we were taking photos, my photographer wanted to get a veil shot of my husband and I encompassed in my veil, it was quiet and the two of use were hugging/kissing while overlooking the water, it was just felt right!

Advice you would give to future brides about planning their wedding:

One step at a time! Make it what you, as a couple, want! Everyone will have opinions and the only thing that matters is what you, as a couple want!

Advice you would give to future brides about wedding dress shopping:

​Just have fun! Try things on you would have never imagined you would put yourself into. The less pressure you put on yourself to find THE dress, the more fun you’ll have! You never know what you will find with an open mind!
