It always makes us so happy when working on blog post because we get to go through all the photos of our brides big day. One thing we immediately noticed when going through Hailey’s photos was how beyond happy she was in every single picture. She radiated happiness that whole day, and when meeting her, she was just as happy and excited to be shopping for her once in a life time dress!

What were some of your “must haves” for your wedding dress?
I came very open to trying different things, but I quickly realized that A-line and lace were definitely the things I loved most. The girls at Gown Boutique of Charleston were so helpful in helping me figure out what I liked!
Was your vision the same as the wedding dress you choose?
I was somewhat surprised with the choice I made. I came in expecting to choose something a little more boho, but the dress I chose felt very classic and romantic.
What did you love most about your gown?
It’s so hard to choose because I loved everything about it. The thing I loved most though was the large-scale floral lace on the skirt.

How did you know you had found your wedding dress?
This was the third dress I tried on, and I felt then that it was my dress. I was so surprised though by what I chose that I wanted to keep trying on. I knew it was mine when I put it back on because it was the one that made me feel the most beautiful and bridal. I am so thankful for the Gown Boutique of Charleston team because I almost didn’t even try this dress on. It had just came in, and they hadn’t seen it on anyone yet. They asked me to try it on, and I am so glad I did!
Most memorable moment from your wedding dress shopping experience:
The most memorable moment of the day was when I put my dress on for the second time. We tried on a veil with it, and I knew without a shadow of doubt that it was my dress. Everyone that was with me loved it, and I knew that it was the one for me.

Most memorable moment from your wedding day:
The most memorable moment of the wedding day was saying our vows to each other. My husband and I have known each other since we were kids, and our wedding day felt like such a long time coming. When we stood before our family and friends committing to love each other forever, I felt the happiest I have ever felt and like everything had fallen into place.

Advice you would give to future brides about planning their wedding:
1. Ask for help! There are so many things to do, and it’s so much easier and more fun to have people help you!
2. Don’t sweat the small stuff! At the end of the day, you will be married to the love of your life, and that’s really all that matters.
3. Work hard to be present in the moment! Your wedding day is going to fly by, so take a moment to just step back and soak it all in.
Advice you would give to future brides about wedding dress shopping:
1. Only bring a few of your closest friends and family. I had four people with me, and it felt like the perfect amount. I brought people who I knew would be supportive and honest and who just wanted me to be happy.
2. Be open to trying different styles. I was surprised with the gown I chose, and I almost didn’t try it on.
3. Don’t get overwhelmed. You will love more than one gown, so trust your instincts.
