Megan’s Elegant Savannah Wedding

Congrats to the newlyweds, Megan & Dustin!

Megan & Dustin said their vows at Trinity United Methodist Church in Savannah, Ga, and with the reception followed at the Charles H. Morris Center. Megan was radiant in her beautifully embroidered lace gown by Martina Liana. It had a stunning cathedral length train, fitted silhouette, and beaded belt accenting the natural waistline. After helping Megan accessorize her look with the perfect veil and jewelry, we also assisted her in outfitting her bridesmaids. She chose a beautiful halter dress by Sorella Vita in the “vintage rose” color that helped pull together her classic style. that was accented at the natural waist by a beaded belt, adding the perfect finishing touch.

We asked Megan to share a little about shopping for her gown and wearing it on her wedding day.

What did you love most about your gown?

The Train! Oh my goodness the gorgeous train on my dress is what i absolutely fell in love with! I never thought I would want a cathedral train, but once I had this dress on, I realized it was exactly what made me feel like a bride!

Memorable moment from gown shopping experience:

I walked into gown shopping with no idea what kind of dress I wanted. I was actually somewhat nervous getting started, since I had never put a wedding dress on, but walking into the boutique I was greeted with a no stress, fun environment! Having such a private experience when trying on gowns made all the difference! I was able to look through every dress in the store and the appointment moved so smoothly based off what I liked with each new dress! I never felt pressured, and when I finally put on MY dress, everyone knew it! It was truly magical! And of course, celebrating with a champagne toast sealed the deal!

Memorable moment from your wedding night:

Our grand entrance into the reception as Mr. And Mrs. Kersey was amazing! All of the stress of planning completely disappeared! We were officially married, The Crystal Clear Band was jamming, and the fun was just beginning!

Anything else you want to share about planning your wedding or wearing your gown:

My gown was by far one of my favorite things about our wedding day! If I could wear it every day, I would! When picking out your gown, definitely consider your venue and time of year! Thankfully for us it was 68 degrees on our wedding day and the majority of our day was spent inside! Having such a large train, an outdoor wedding would have made the dress so much more difficult! Our planner did such a wonderful job bringing our dream to life! Don’t stress, everything will turn out perfect!

Thank you so much for sharing your memories and tips with us, Megan!
