A lace illusion bateau neckline bodice with sweetheart underlay, ballgown skirt, and classic elegance… that’s the gown for bride Lindsay!
Lindsay came into our shop and ended up purchasing this beyond beautiful Augusta Jones gown for her ceremony at St. Luke’s Chapel and reception at the Francis Marion Colonial Ballroom. This specific wedding ballgown is a slight nod to the 1950’s with its a-line shape, cinched cummerbund waist, and delicate lace boat neckline. We are still swooning over our bride and her classic look, complete with Badgley Mischka heels. Our bride opted for a sweet low bun and simple glam makeup by Paper Dolls.
All these lovely shots are from Sarah Bee Photography, who happened to be a bride of ours as well! We loved the way Lindsay decorated her venue with simple floral arrangements from Charleston Flower Market, as well as family mementos and photographs. Lindsay and Dustin’s wedding planner was Katherine of YOJ Events, and their beautiful cake was provided by Sugar Bakeshop.
Please be sure to check out the full blog from photographer Sara here, as it has some great inspiration for our future brides with a style similar to Lindsay. There is plenty of #weddinginspo for sure!
Congratulations to both Lindsay and Dustin! We wish you a very happy marriage for years to come!
