My latest favorite thing has not just recently become my favorite thing but has been for about the last two years. 

If you are not familiar with the books “Something Borrowed” and “Something Blue” by Emily Giffin; let me tell you, you are missing out!  After a long obsession with these adorable little books, I was beyond thrilled that the movie finally made it to theatres and that I finally had a chance to go see it!

The charming cast made up of Kate Hudson, Ginnifer Goodwin, Colin Egglesfield and John Kransinski {yes, our fav. from The Office} did a fabulous job of making my favorite book come to life!

I’ll give you the rundown {AKA The Plot}:  Rachel is an attorney in NYC who hasn’t dated much but has always had a thing for Dex {since they met back in law school}, who just so happens to be her best friend Darcy’s fiancée.  Darcy and Dex are on the countdown to getting married when on the eve of Rachel’s 30th birthday, Rachel drunkenly winds up confessing her longtime feelings for Dex and he winds up kissing her because secretly he’s always felt the same way!  Ah!  Along the way Rachel and Darcy’s dear old friend Ethan gets caught in the mix of things and tries to steer Rachel in the right path. Now, Rachel has to decide between hurting her oldest and best friend or possibly losing the love of her life!

It’s scandalous, you’ll love it, I promise.  If you decide you want to read the books first, this is one film that you will not be disappointed in afterward!
